Prof. Takeharu Haino Receives FY2025 Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan Award
On February 17, Prof. Takeharu Haino, Principal Investigator at WPI-SKCM² and Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University, received the FY2025 Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan Award.
The award, titled “Development of Supramolecular Assemblies through Precise Structural Modification of Macrocyclic Molecules,” was presented in recognition of his outstanding research achievements and their significant impact on the field of synthetic organic chemistry.
Established in 1959, the Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan Award honors researchers whose work has made distinguished contributions to the advancement of synthetic organic chemistry and its related industries. The award recognizes both academic achievements that advance the systematic development of the discipline and technological innovations that bring transformative impact to industrial applications. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious recognitions in the field in Japan.
