Science Knot Building Featured in the May Edition of HU-plus
The Science Knot Building, home to WPI-SKCM², has been featured in the May issue (Vol. 30) of HU-plus, Hiroshima University’s official public relations magazine.
The feature introduces Science Knot as a new hub for interdisciplinary research and innovation at Hiroshima University. Opened in March 2026, the six-story facility brings together cutting-edge research infrastructure, collaborative workspaces, outreach facilities, and industry-academia partnership opportunities under one roof. It also serves as the home of WPI-SKCM², fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across diverse scientific fields.
Additionally, on page 15, WPI-SKCM² is introduced as one of Japan’s World Premier International Research Center (WPI) Program institutes and the only WPI center in the Chugoku-Shikoku region, highlighting its role in advancing next-generation materials science through world-class research.
We are delighted to see Science Knot featured in HU-plus and hope the article will help more readers learn about the facility and the research activities taking place within it.
