Chiral Knot Science Class: “Shapes Seen through Electron Microscopes — What Are Molecules? What Is Chirality?”
Science Knot Building, Hiroshima University (Higashi-Hiroshima Campus)

WPI-SKCM² will hold a hands-on science class for elementary and junior high school students on August 19, 2026, at the Science Knot Building, Hiroshima University (Higashi-Hiroshima Campus). Participants will explore the microscopic world through optical and electron microscopes and visit the JEOL × Hiroshima University Knotted Room, home to a state-of-the-art transmission electron microscope (TEM).
This event offers young participants a valuable opportunity to experience how researchers observe atoms and molecules in real research environments.
