Bio
In the field of materials science, Hiroshi Sato has created unique metal-organic crystals. One such metal- organic framework is made of molecules known as catenanes. He showed that such soft crystals have a function like a “sponge” absorbing and desorbing gas molecules, offering a potential application in capturing carbon dioxide.
