Description:
WPI-SKCM² is excited to host an Entrepreneurship Forum on Friday, July 19, 2024 on the final day of our 10-day Knotted Chiral Meta Matter Summer School. The forum, held at Mirai Crea at Hiroshima University, HigashiHiroshima Campus and online, will feature keynote speaker Professor Hidetoshi Tahara of the Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences. He serves as the Vice President of Academia-Government-Industry Collaboration and has a wealth of entrepreneurial experience. After Dr. Tahara’s lecture covering essential aspects of innovation, intellectual property management, and the commercialization of research, Dr. Tahara and a panel discussion with other experts will address questions from the audience, providing a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges in translating academic research into marketable products. The event will conclude with a mixer-style reception for all to network and exchange ideas.
