About WPI-SKCM2: One mission of WPI-SKCM2 is to create designable artificial knot-like particles that exhibit highly unusual and technologically useful properties, which are useful for technological innovation to solve global problems, such as climate change.  In order to do so, our team of researchers cross-pollinates mathematical knot theory and chirality knowledge across disciplines and scales, deepening our understanding of nature across fields.

Speakers: Ivan Smalyukh, Marjolein Dijkstra, Danny Hsu, Katsuya Inoue, Hiroshi Sato

About WPI-ICReDD: The mission of WPI-ICReDD is the design and discovery of chemical reactions to enable humanity to purposefully craft chemical reactions to any design. We use computational science, information science, and experimental science to develop new methods, new materials, and new applications across all fields where chemical reactions are important.

Speakers: Satoshi Maeda, Jian Ping Gong, Yasuchika Hasegawa, Hajime Ito
