In the field of three-dimensional nanomagnetism where new topological textures and geometrical magnetic effects may appear, Claire Donnelly has advanced both fabrication and characterization techniques necessary to study this subject. In particular, she has developed magnetic tomography techniques to visualize three-dimensional magnetic textures and fabrication techniques to realize three-dimensional magnetic nanostructures.
