Science Knot

The Science Knot Building, located at Hiroshima University, serves as the headquarters of WPI-SKCM².

WPI-SKCM² members are eligible to use meeting rooms, seminar rooms, telecubes, and the poster printer under specific conditions. Please review the reservation guidelines before making a booking here.

Opening Hours

Building Hours: Weekdays 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

・Outside these hours, the building will be locked. To enter, please use your pre-registered staff or student ID card at the card reader
located at the main entrance or the east entrance.

WPI-SKCM2 Office (5th Floor) Hours: Weekdays 8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.

Connecting Doors to Faculty of Science Building D: Weekdays 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

・Outside these hours, the doors will be locked.

Outreach space

The first floor features an outreach space with a variety of interactive exhibits, allowing visitors to explore knot theory and chirality. It also highlights the ongoing mission and research achievements of WPI-SKCM².

In Case of Emergencies

Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency, such as a fire, please evacuate by following the emergency exit signs inside the building. Directional signs are also in place to guide you to the nearest exits; we strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with the evacuation routes as depicted in the floor maps for evacuation below.
