Bio
I study optical control and manipulation of topological defects of liquid crystals, elasticity and defect-mediated directed assembly of colloids, topological active matter, rheology of complex fluids and photonics of soft materials.
What I like about my science: Exploiting topological defects of liquid crystals for creating tunable colloidal assemblies with complex architectures and navigating their electrophoretic propulsion at will.
