Sophie Jackson (University of Cambridge) Delivers a Seminar to Members of WPI-SKCM²

On June 20th, 2024 WPI-SKCM² had the wonderful privilege of hosting Sophie Jackson, of Cambridge University’s Yusef Hamied Department of Chemical and Molecular Biology for an online seminar entitled “Knots in Proteins”. She educated our members on the basics of knots in proteins and many things she has discovered with her research team over the years regarding these knots. It was certainly a very fruitful talk for all of our members at WPI-SKCM²!

And we hope that our weekly seminars can be very useful not only for our own members but for everyone who has an interest in these research topics! Our weekly seminars are open to everyone, both on-site and over Zoom, and cover many different topics, from topology to sustainability.
