As part of the Japan Program for Accelerated Innovation and Research Ecosystem (J-PEAKS), Hiroshima University will host the Hiroshima University J-PEAKS International Symposium 2026: New Developments Opened by Interdisciplinary Research Integration — Starting from Synchrotron Radiation Science — on Monday, March 2, 2026.
This symposium will be organized in conjunction with The 30th Hiroshima International Symposium on Synchrotron Radiation (HiSOR International Symposium), which will be held on March 3–4, 2026. The event aims to promote the creation of interdisciplinary research initiatives centered on synchrotron radiation science and to strengthen international research networks.
Representing WPI-SKCM², Acting Director Akio Kimura and graduate student Samuele Faglioni will participate in the symposium and deliver oral presentations.
