Ryosuke Yoshii (Sanyo-Onoda City University): Inhomogeneous Condensation, Phase Transition, and Casimir effect in Chiral Gross-Neveu model
Hybrid, VBL 204 & Zoom
The chiral Gross Neveu model was proposed as a model for high-energy physics, but has been studied across disciplines because of its similarity to models describing superconductivity phenomena. In this talk, I will discuss non-uniform condensation and phase transitions in this model, the effect of condensation on Casimir forces in finite systems, and chiral edge states in non-uniform solutions.
