Yoshihiko Togawa (Osaka Metropolitan University): Chirality-Induced Selectivity and Polarization with Chiral Inorganic Materials

A role of chirality in materials is discussed, being inspired by recent studies on chirality-induced selectivity and polarization of spin and phonon angular momenta over long distances with chiral materials. A comprehensive understanding of these nontrivial phenomena will clarify the interplay between structural and dynamical chirality.
