WPI-SKCM² Researchers Participate in QCHS 2026
Researchers from WPI-SKCM² participated in the XVII Conference on Quark Confinement and the Hadron Spectrum (QCHS 2026), held at the University of Wrocław, Poland, from June 29 to July 4, 2026. The conference is one of the leading international forums for researchers studying strong interactions in particle physics, bringing together theorists and experimentalists from around the world to discuss the latest advances in quantum chromodynamics (QCD), hadron physics, and related fields.
WPI-SKCM² served as one of the conference’s co-organizers, with Professor Chihiro Sasaki, a Principal Investigator (PI) at WPI-SKCM², serving as a member of the organizing committee. In addition, Professor Muneto Nitta, a Visiting Researcher at WPI-SKCM², delivered a plenary lecture to an international audience of leading scientists in the field.
The participation of WPI-SKCM² in QCHS 2026 reflects the institute’s continued commitment to advancing world-leading research and strengthening international collaboration in theoretical and interdisciplinary physics.
